Congratulations Jason!

Congratulations to Jason and Karen Mann!  The handfasting was a fantastic ceremony presided over by the honorable Nicholas Sacco.  They shut down half of Winter Park just for the wedding.  Nick has turned into quite the minister.

Future site of the Butler Family Farm

The land has been cleared, two full grown hibiscus trees have been removed and the oak has been trimmed.  We now have three banana plants, two are dwarf cavendish and the other is a Goldfinger.  Next step is tilling and lots of horse poop.

Happy Birthday Alea!

Alea's birthday weekend was a blast, the Cardinals beat the Nationals and the fire pit roared.

Nolan Ryan

FIT had their annual plant and garden festival, it was very windy and a bit chilly but bearable.  We picked up a banana plant (Goldfinger variety) and a pitcher plant.  Named the Pitcher Nolan Ryan.

Superhero Walk

There was a superhero/villian walk downtown, quite similar to the Zombie walk from last year.  Plenty of folks and their dogs met up in thier finest superhero apparel.  Quite fascinating was a Willie Nelson Superman who was texting and chain smoking the entire time while donning a bandana and fanny pack.

I could imagine Enrique Iglesias telling me he could be my hero.
