Calm before the storm

The picture below shows a calm group of friends enjoying an evening at the park.  Not a care in the world.  Mason laughed and played while the adults carried on.  Everything was going smoothly, until...  My dog, found the smelliest pile of poo, decided to dive face first and roll around in it.  We all lost a piece of ourselves that night.

Side Project

This one is for Pinkley.  She gave me the idea of a screen door for the pantry.  I think it is growing on Alea.  It still needs a coat of paint and a screen.  I will post more once it is finished.

Alea was Bayside's co-sponsor for the class of 2013.  One of the joys of being class sponsor is prom duty.  It was an early day setting up tables, sprinkling glitter, assembling props and a long night of handing out water bottles.  We put the giant star together with cardboard and a hot glue gun. 

Food trucks

I had my first run-in with a food truck at the convention and it was delightful.  Kick-ass tacos, goat chees ravioli and conch fritters made us smile.

Coinciding with Jason's wedding was MEGACON.  Lots of people dressed for success that weekend.  Unfortunately I left my ALF costume at home.  We had some good times and met some good people.  I got pretty close to the Hulk and an off-brand R2 unit.
