Hurricane Ruby!!!
Ruby is here and she is squealing! Dinner at Meg's and lunch in the ocean. Saw some turtles laying their eggs last night. We had to use the high-tech red light. Sorry folks, no blood was shed this time around. Where is BETH?

Turtle Tracks
Another fine morning of Kayaking. Karen White brought down her watercraft to join in on the action. Lots of hot turtle action. No dolphins today however there were plenty of turtles doing their business. It might be safe to say that ocean kayaking is the new "IN" thing. I'm pretty sure it will catch on.

Dive Day
First summer dive today. I used the scuba gear and Alea snorkeled. We paddled out using the kayak. It was a little tough to get out mainly due to incoming tide. Visibility was good but made worse by 3 different treasure ships blowing nearby. Spotted one eel, some fish and lots of seaweed.
Later after lunch Karen White and the boys came by and we partied on the beach for a bit. Ripped some crazy Nar Nar in the surf.
Side note: Max stepped on an oreo cookie at the park, thought it was misplaced, and decided to eat it. We didn't even have to give him a dollar. When confronted he stated "A stranger came up and gave it to me, then went away."

Oldest Teachers
Cruised to St. Augustine to celebrate Karen's Birthday with Gerard and Erin. Couldn't quite get away from work, I wonder if they had FCAT back then? Lunch and sangria at the Columbia was a tasty treat. Note to self: next time go all out and get the salad. We saw Erin's future and had checker's fries for the first time in a while. Go Team Summer!

Mother Mother Ocean
We got up early again today and headed out for a ride in the kayak. The ocean has calmed down quite a bit in the last week or so. Pretty soon it will be ready for diving. I ended up cruising with a group of dolphins and caught some shots. I still need to work on the photography skills. Alea went out past a group of mating sea turtles. Later on the day turned into a project day. We started on a fun address sign to put out front. Pictures soon to come. Alea's hair turned red.

Man Saves Neighborhood From Infestation
Made my primetime TV debut today. I was working on the yard trimming trees and pulling grass and Alea was smart enough to run inside when the truck came up. Other than that nothing too eventful.
