Headboard finished

The headboard is ready to be painted.

Bed Time

We decided to make a bed rather than buy one from Kane's. For the most part it has been an over sized pile of lumber in the garage. Four weeks after purchasing we finally began cutting. The head board is starting to take shape.

Marathon Man

Ran a marathon a few weeks back and the ankle is just now starting to feel normal again.  Here are the before and after pics. 

I Made a Towel Rack

We went shopping for towel racks a while back. They were all too small, too narrow, or too modern. An idea popped into my head, an idea that I'm getting a lot of lately, "I can make one better". So I bought a board and Alea picked out some hooks. I think it turned out rather nice.

One step closer

Alea found an amazing thrift store gem. We have added a new dresser to the mix. Don't worry about those green knobs, they will be the first to go.

Finished Floor

So the floor is down and the baseboards are in. Now we make a bed fit for a king.

Bedroom Phase 2

Just about finished putting the floor in. It's as easy as it was back when I installed it about 10 years ago however I actually care about this one, so there's no half-assing it.
