2nd Free Lunch of Summer

I caught a decent sized Jack at sunup. My neighbor across the street swears that they have a great taste, especially when grilled. The old man down at the bait shop says he would never ever eat that f$%&in fish. All said and done it gave me some very tasty tacos. Thank you Jack.

Bed Time

I can see the garage floor! The bed is finished, it came out better than I thought. Everything square. Well, pretty darn close to square. We ordered the mattress off Amazon, this gave me a bit of anxiety, but it came in two prime shipping days. The box was heavy, it was raining, the UPS guy was pissed but all in all everything worked out well.

I am super excited about this project and am also dreading the day we have to move!

Spirit Animals

Went camping a week or so back. Ran into tons of wildlife. Also saw rabbits and turkeys, but did not have the camera with me.

Fan Capacitor

I just about lost my mind the other day as the fan stopped running, stunk like burning plastic, all in the middle of the bed build. I began to run the finances through my head of another fan which made me even angrier. I then started doing the math of fan lifespans. 5 years at 8 hours a day came out to somewhere around 15,000 hours. In my research I found that the Motor Capacitor can go leaving the fan motionless. I opened up the fan guts and this is what I found.

I found a replacement at Dan's Fan city!!! WOOHOO!
12 Bucks beats buying a new fan any day.

Bathroom Mulligan

Alea has been hard at work on the bathroom. New paint, some pictures, and an updated paint job on the light fixture and the mirror border.

Here is one of the before and after.

Almost there!

The slats have been screwed on and pegboard has been laid to accommodate the memory foam mattress. The side-rails are cut but I ran out of screws.

Summer Break Project Update

Summer is finally here! This means we have the time to sit, think, and get back to work. We ended on three coats of paint. The next step is slats every two inches then side-rails. I can finally see my garage floor!
